L2L Committee

L2L Ladies Walk is run by female volunteers on an annual basis. These women represent L2L as a Non-Profit Organisation. They do not benefit from or receive any of the funds raised nor do they have the rights over things that belong to the organisation (L2L Ladies Constitution 3.1, 3.2)

The committee manages the affairs of the organisation in accordance with the resolutions of the members, as taken from time to time at General Meetings. The committee members fulfil various profiles including:

  • Financial Officer
  • Registration Officer (registration@lighthouse2lighthouse.co.za)
  • Catering
  • Media & Marketing (info@lighthouse2lighthouse.co.za)
  • Accommodation
  • Events
  • Fundraising & Charities

Regarding finances and reports, L2L Ladies Walk committee adhere to the following constitutional requirements:

  • Proper records and books of account(s) which reflect the affairs of the organisation
  • To compile a financial year report by an independent registered Accounting Office, stating if the financial statements of the organisation is consistent with its accounting policies and practices of the organisation. (Non-Profit Organisation Act 71 OF 1997, clause 17 & 18)
